The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing insurance claims, denials, appeals, and collections specifically within an obstetrics and gynecology practice. Experience with prenatal care, global OB billing, gynecologic procedures, ultrasound services, and surgical billing is highly preferred. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of insurance claim follow-up and accounts receivable Review aging reports and identify opportunities to improve collections Submit and track insurance appeals and reconsiderations Resolve denied, underpaid, and delayed claims Work directly with commercial and government payers to obtain claim resolution Verify correct coding and billing for OB, GYN, ultrasound, and office procedures Monitor reimbursement trends and identify root causes of denials Collaborate with providers and office staff to improve documentation and billing workflows Assist with monthly revenue cycle reporting and performance metrics Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of medical billing and collections experience Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN billing experience preferred Strong knowledge of global OB billing packages Experience with prenatal, delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic claims Experience billing ultrasound and fetal diagnostic services preferred Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and payer policies Proven success reducing A/R aging and increasing collections Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned accounts Preferred Experience High-Risk Obstetrics / Maternal-Fetal Medicine Gynecologic surgery and minimally invasive procedures Infertility and reproductive health services New Jersey commercial insurance plans What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Supportive physician-led practice environment Opportunity to directly impact practice growth and financial performance Long-term growth opportunities Qualified candidates should include details regarding their OB/GYN billing experience, payer experience, and measurable collection results.
