Day Shift Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Medical Assistant to support clinical operations across multiple outpatient locations. This role requires strong clinical and administrative skills, along with the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Flexibility to work across different sites as needed is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for examinations and clinical procedures. Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection in accordance with established protocols. Accurately document patient information in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Assist healthcare providers during examinations and treatments. Maintain examination rooms, equipment, and clinical supplies. Follow infection control, sterilization, and safety guidelines. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently. Provide patient education and support under clinical direction. Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations.
Required Qualifications:
Prior experience in a Medical Assistant or similar clinical support role. Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Experience and competency in phlebotomy. Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures. Understanding of medical terminology. Ability to travel between multiple work locations as needed.
