In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of our organization. Your expertise in various accounting software and systems will help streamline processes, facilitate precise reporting, and uphold the integrity of our financial data. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your accounting skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to growth and excellence. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms. Perform bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and ledger accounts. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable to maintain healthy cash flow and vendor relationships. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to verify accuracy of financial information. Prepare financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Assist with payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate employee payments. Support budgeting activities by monitoring expenses and providing insights for financial planning. Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls while continuously improving bookkeeping procedures. Requirements Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online), Xero, Sage, or equivalent systems. Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and general ledger accounting accurately. Solid understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, and account analysis. Experience with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for data management and report writing. Knowledge of GAAP standards and familiarity with public accounting practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and support financial reporting efforts.
