Overview Join our dynamic team as a Bookkeeper and become a vital part of our financial operations! In this energetic role, you will manage essential accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance across various financial activities. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our financial records, support budgeting efforts, and facilitate smooth financial reporting. We're looking for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering precise, timely bookkeeping solutions that drive organizational success. Responsibilities Maintain accurate general ledger accounting by recording journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards such as GAAP. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collections. Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to verify transaction accuracy and identify discrepancies promptly. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, and Quicken to process transactions efficiently and generate financial reports. Support payroll processing activities by ensuring correct data entry and compliance with relevant regulations. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation to uphold the integrity of financial statements. Assist with budgeting activities and prepare detailed financial report writing to inform decision-making. Qualifications Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles with familiarity in accounting systems like QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar software. Strong understanding of accounting concepts including debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and GAAP standards. Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis accurately. Proficiency in spreadsheets and financial software for data management and reporting purposes. Knowledge of public accounting practices or non-profit accounting is a plus but not required. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Prior experience with payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable management, and financial report writing is highly desirable.
