Job DescriptionJob Description Our company is currently seeking ​an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team! Granite Mountain Accounting is a fast growing accounting firm in Las Cruces, NM. Our focus is on providing dependable bookkeeping and tax preparation service to small businesses and individuals. This bookkeeping position is a full time, in office position.
Responsibilities:
Handle weekly payroll/reports/filings for clients Obtain client primary financial data for accounting records Compute and record client numerical data Check the accuracy of business transactions Perform data entry and administrative duties Generate annual business filings for clients
Qualifications:
Ability to use QuickBooks desktop and QuickBooks online is a must Deadline and detail-oriented Two years of previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields Fundamental knowledge of GAAP Ability to prioritize and multitask Strong organizational skills Strong References
