Job Description

Key Resource Group is partnering with an International Public Accounting Firm in a search for an Accounting Assistant to join their Amherst, NY location. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Professional Services firm and an educational path based in Accounting/Finance. Our partner offers a professional and friendly environment with excellent upward mobility!
Responsibilities Include:
Maintain financial records, process business transactions, and follow accounting best practices Manage invoices for payment and processing and maintain general ledger Assist the accounting partner with audits, forecasts, and other tasks Correct and modify inaccurate files and records Reconcile account balances, processing billing adjustments, and assist other departments as needed Filing, mailing, and general administrative work on a daily basis Benefits include: Generous monthly stipend for self-obtained insurance Paid Time Off including vacation, holiday, and sick time
Job Requirements:
1 - 3 + years of experience in a Professional Services / CPA firm Academic field of study based in Finance /Accounting. College graduate preferred.
