Job Description
Overview:
The Construction Office Assistant will assist the Office Manager with construction Requisitions and construction office tasks such as coordinating field needs, managing Excel sheets, and inventory management. This position is based full time onsite at our Astoria office and will report to the Office Manager. Resume and references are required and there will be a three month trial basis.Responsibilities:
- Experience working within a construction company heavily preferred.
- Must have Knowledge in placing construction Requisitions (AIA / Textura, Procore / GE Pay).
- Preferably can use Bluebeam, Quickbooks, Procore, and other construction and accounting software
- Assisting around the office and field needs. This will include placing orders, filing, answering the phone, anticipating the needs of supervisors, and some field work.
- Will manage and take ownership of Excel sheets for efficient tracking and project data management.
Qualifications:
- Preferably has a college degree in engineering, architecture, accounting, or similar.
- Highly self motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven individual.
- Ability to problem solve, prioritize and multitask / to think on their feet.
- People friendly / Approachable personality / Works well with Clients.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Pay:
$45,500.00- $50,000.
