Join our client's dynamic team at a reputable CPA firm as a highly skilled and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper! If you are passionate about managing financial records, transactions, and general accounting duties, this role is perfect for you. We are looking for someone with expertise in bookkeeping, accounting principles, and proficiency with relevant software tools to ensure accurate financial records and provide comprehensive support to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Financial Record Management:
Keep financial records up to date for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Record day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries. Manage and reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents.
General Accounting:
Prepare and review financial statements, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, irregularities, and potential issues. Provide clients with insightful financial reports and summaries, offering key recommendations.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Handle accounts payable functions, processing invoices, vendor payments, and expense reimbursements. Oversee accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliations.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Perform financial analysis, spot trends, and prepare relevant reports to support decision-making and financial planning. Collaborate on the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Compliance and Audit Support:
Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary financial documentation and ensuring compliance with audit requirements. Stay informed about relevant tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles to guarantee compliance and offer accurate guidance to clients.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role, preferably in a CPA firm or public accounting setting. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and the Microsoft Office suite. Excellent attention to detail and precision in financial recordkeeping. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective time management and organizational abilities. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
