Job Description

SUNY Geneseo, New York State's Public Honors College, seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Accounting for its highly regarded accounting programs. As a nationally recognized public liberal arts college, Geneseo provides a warm and dynamic learning environment for more than four thousand students. The AACSB-accredited School of Business offers six undergraduate majors, including a BS in Accounting, and two master's degrees in accounting - one traditional and one online. The School of Business at SUNY Geneseo is inviting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Accounting to begin August 2027.
Duties of the position include:
Teaching three accounting courses related to Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Corporate Tax each semester at undergraduate and graduate levels in both classroom and online modalities. Contributing to the field through published scholarship consistent with the AACSB qualification of Scholarly Academics. Provide academic and career advising and mentoring to accounting students and perform other services at the School of Business and the College.
