401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Paid time off About the Role We're a small, growing laboratory looking for an Accounting Specialist to own our day-to-day financial operations. This is a full-cycle role, you'll be the person who keeps our books accurate, organized, and audit-ready. It's a great opportunity for someone who wants full ownership of a company's finances and the chance to grow into a larger role as we expand our customer base. What You'll Do Manage full-cycle bookkeeping: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger Invoice customers and track collections Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts monthly Process payroll and related filings Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) Track expenses and support budgeting/forecasting as we grow Prepare documentation for quarterly and annual tax filings. Maintain organized, compliant financial records and internal controls Identify process improvements as transaction volume increases What We're Looking For 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (small business experience a plus) Proficiency with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software Strong Excel skills High attention to detail and comfort working independently Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (not required with equivalent experience) Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or lab billing a plus.
