Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team! In this vital role, you will support the accounting department by managing financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy across all bookkeeping activities. Your organizational skills will help streamline our financial operations, contributing to the overall success of our organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your accounting expertise while working in a fast-paced environment that values efficiency, accuracy, and excellent customer service. Duties Assist with data entry of financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks and maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and expenses Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking Support office management tasks such as filing, document proofreading, and maintaining organized spreadsheets Prepare reports, summaries, and basic bookkeeping documentation with attention to detail and accuracy Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information while ensuring timely communication with internal teams Qualifications Proven experience with office management, clerical tasks, or administrative support in a professional setting Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Quick Books or similar accounting software is highly preferred Excellent organizational and data entry skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively while maintaining high productivity levels Attention to detail ensuring accuracy in all financial records
