Accounting Support Specialist

This position is available due to the semi‑retirement of two senior accounting professionals who have contributed 49 years of service to our company. We are seeking a part‑time team member with experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to support our accounting and administrative functions. This role is part of an entrepreneurial manufacturing environment where creativity is respected, but accuracy, consistency, and sound judgment remain essential. The position will cross‑train with other areas of accounting and administration to support smooth operations.

The ideal candidate:

Has 5 or more years of hands‑on accounting experience Is precise, organized, and thorough in their work Communicates clearly and professionally Follows established procedures and double‑checks details Works independently when needed and collaborates well with others Asks questions early when information is missing or unclear Responsibilities include: Supporting A/P and A/R functions Assisting with cross‑trained tasks in other accounting and administrative areas Contributing to accurate recordkeeping and smooth daily operations

Requirements:

Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Strong proficiency in Excel Solid basic math skills

Work Schedule:

Part‑time; schedule to be determined based on mutual availability. M&E Mfg. Co., Inc. is in its 51st year as a manufacturer of food service equipment.
