Job Description
We are looking for an Office Assistant helps keep the office running smoothly by handling daily mail, payment, supply, and document-related tasks. Responsibilities include entering payments, scanning checks for deposit, verifying deposit totals, printing checks, matching checks with the proper backup, and preparing them for mailing. This person will also open, sort, and distribute incoming mail. Since many employees work remotely, it is important to recognize when something needs prompt attention and make sure it gets to the right person. Other duties include printing policies and endorsements for assembly, taking cancellations to the post office, keeping track of office forms and supplies, ordering supplies when needed, and preparing certified, overnight, and other special mailings. We are looking for an individual to assist with accounting operations and human resources tasks as needed, including accounts payable, general ledger and payroll. You will work directly with our customers, brokers and employees.
Requirements & Skills:
