Job Description

Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented contract-to-permanent Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting with reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate financial records and general ledger entriesProcess accounts payable and accounts receivable transactionsReconcile bank, credit card, and other balance sheet accountsPrepare and post journal entriesAssist with payroll processing and related recordkeepingGenerate financial reports for management reviewMonitor cash flow and help track expenses and budgetsSupport month-end and year-end close activitiesEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting proceduresCommunicate with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders regarding billing and payment matters
