Compensation:
$70,000 - $80,000 depending on experience About the company: CFS has partnered with a property management company based in lower Westchester County to help identify their new Full Charge Bookkeeper for their team. This is a high visibility position with the opportunity to learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and update the general ledger using accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms. Perform balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to ensure accuracy of financial data. Prepare and post journal entries, including debits & credits, to reflect all financial transactions. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently. Generate detailed financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure adherence to GAAP standards and maintain compliance with governmental accounting requirements when applicable. Assist with budgeting processes and provide insights for financial planning. Handle complex technical accounting tasks such as double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis. Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial records.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or an Associate's degree preferred. 3-5+ years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper. Prior experience working in a property management company is highly preferred. #LI-TM2 #LI-Onsite #
