Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations for a client in Columbus, Ohio. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, handling routine financial transactions, and ensuring invoices, payments, and reconciliations are completed on time. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with QuickBooks Online and Desktop and can contribute to reliable reporting through organized, precise bookkeeping practices.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain complete and accurate financial records by entering, reviewing, and organizing daily accounting activity in QuickBooks Online and Desktop.
  • Process vendor bills and payments while keeping accounts payable current and properly documented.
  • Track incoming customer payments, issue invoices, and follow up on outstanding balances to support healthy accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile bank and financial statements regularly to identify discrepancies and ensure records remain accurate.
  • Assist with preparing routine financial reports by compiling transaction data and verifying supporting documentation.
  • Review accounting entries for accuracy and resolve inconsistencies in a timely manner.
  • Support month-end bookkeeping activities to help keep financial information organized and up to date.
