Summary We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Mid Ohio Surgery Center in Columbus. This role is vital in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our mission of delivering high-quality surgical care. Responsibilities Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable. Prepare and maintain financial reports in accordance with GAAP. Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations. Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for efficient record-keeping. Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting. Collaborate with management to analyze financial data for decision-making. Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation. Qualifications Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within the healthcare sector. Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software. Strong understanding of GAAP principles and corporate accounting practices. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively. Familiarity with payroll processing and tax regulations is preferred.
