Job Description

Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for over 85 years. A commitment to teamwork and quality has made us one of the top turkey, hog and egg companies in the U.S. and awarded the company and its team an excellent reputation. We are currently seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team in Fort Recovery. The primary goal of this position is the timely and accurate completion of accounts payable functions and all related accounting reports.
SHIFT HOURS
Monday through Friday 1st shift
STARTING HOURLY RATE
From $20/hr
ADDITIONAL
Pay:
Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
Job Functions:
Maintain accounts payable, including matching purchase orders with invoices, tracking purchase orders, etc.

Assist with accounting tasks including accounts receivable, business plan updates, inventory, etc.

Maintain CER/CAR details and update the accounting system as neededProvide excellent customer service by answering all telephone calls and greeting all visitors in a pleasant, businesslike mannerGain knowledge and assist in all production reporting to assist in daily, weekly, and monthly production reportingProvide support for the human resource department by acting as a human resource liaison for LEPMaintain lobby appearance by managing all office deliveries and ensuring all packages are disbursed to correct departments in a timely mannerAssist the plant manager in the preparation of timely and accurate reports including production reports, water usage, meeting minutes, etc.
