Cash Poster, Patient Accounting

JOB SUMMARY

The Patient Accounting Clerk is responsible for the handling of all cash and checks received by mail or over the counter. Is also responsible to answer all inquires pertaining to Patient Accounting department or direct external customers to the appropriate area and/or representative.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education High school graduate. Associate Degree in some business or computer field is desirable. Training and Experience Ability to use computer; familiarity with rules of spelling, grammar, filing, basic math and punctuation; some knowledge of medical terminology is desirable; and, prior cashiering experience is desirable. Health and Background Requirements Employment contingent upon successful completion of: Physical Background Check Must be physically able to perform all job duties as assigned.
