About the
Role:
At Kalmbach Feeds, Inc. the role of Grain Accounts Payable & Customer Experience Specialist is an engaging position that allows an individual to have a real impact on the companys bottom line. The Kalmbach Feeds Purchasing team requires a strong individual who is capable of relating to all areas of the business including Nutrition, Sales, Marketing, Purchasing and Production. This team member will protect the quality and integrity of our feed by helping to ensure the proper/accurate utilization of materials and resources. On a daily bases, this individual will record all transactions and receipts, proactively reconcile all usage, and challenge areas of discrepancies. Ultimately, the team maximizes productivity by helping to maintain the right materials in the right place at the right time.
Operations Support Work cross-functionally with procurement, operations, and logistics teamsAssist with documentation, reporting, and general administrative supportStep in to support team needs across departments as priorities shiftContribute to process improvements and efficienciesCustomer Experience & SupportServe as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to grain payments and settlements.
Provide clear, timely communication to customers and vendorsHelp resolve issues related to deliveries, paperwork, or paymentsSupport a positive, solution-oriented customer experienceInvoicing & Accounts ProcessingProcess invoices for grain, soybean meal, and related productsReview invoices for accuracy and resolve discrepanciesAssist with accounts payable tasks, including invoice entry and payment processingCollaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate recordsGrain Transactions & SettlementsMaintain accurate grain scale tickets and transaction recordsProcess grain settlements, including verifying contracts, pricing, and quantitiesEnsure timely and accurate reconciliation of transactionsWho You Are:
