Job Description
This is a part-time position supporting our accounting clinical research operations. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with numbers and information, and able to communicate professionally with both coworkers and patients. Previous accounting experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person who is eager to learn, works hard, and takes pride in doing accurate work. Responsibilities Assist with basic accounting and bookkeeping tasks Capture and invoice research-related services, including lab tests, X-rays, MRIs, and other procedures Enter and track research and financial data Process invoices and assist with tracking outstanding invoices Assist with account reconciliations Research and retrieve information needed for billing and accounting Communicate with other departments to gather necessary information Maintain accurate and organized files and records Perform data entry and tracking Answer phones and assist with general office needs Assist with filing and administrative tasks Provide support to the accounting and research departments Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For Self-motivated and dependable Strong attention to detail Excellent organizational and communication skills Professional and friendly interpersonal skills Quick learner who is willing to learn new systems and processes Comfortable working with numbers and basic math Ability to locate, retrieve, and organize information Able to work independently and as part of a team Strong work ethic and dedication Willingness to learn and grow with the organization Experience Previous accounting, bookkeeping, office, or administrative experience is a plus, but not required Excel experience is a plus QuickBooks experience is a plus Schedule Part-time Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM Approximately 12 hours per week In-person position
