full-time Company Description Engineered Plastics, LLC (EP) is a custom plastics manufacturer serving a wide range of industries through three specialized operations: molding, assembly, and recycling across northwest Pennsylvania. Role Description The Administrative Assistant Bookkeeper is a full-time, on-site role based in Erie, PA. This role supports daily office operations by managing administrative tasks such as answering phones, organizing files, preparing correspondence, and coordinating schedules and appointments. The position also handles bookkeeping responsibilities, including recording transactions, processing invoices and payments, reconciling accounts, and assisting with the preparation of financial reports. The Administrative Assistant Bookkeeper will work closely with management and other team members to ensure accurate recordkeeping, timely documentation, and smooth communication across the business. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Bookkeeping and Journal Entries (Accounting) to accurately record and maintain financial transactions. Candidates should possess skills in Financial Statements and Finance to support basic reporting, tracking of expenses, and understanding of company performance. Candidates should possess skills in Accounting Software to efficiently manage ledgers, process invoices, and reconcile accounts. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple administrative tasks and deadlines. Proficiency in office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email) and comfort working in a manufacturing setting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality. Previous experience in administrative support and bookkeeping is preferred; experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in accounting or business administration is beneficial. College degree preferred.
