Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial transactions of our organization. The ideal candidate will have experience handling accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll support, and general ledger maintenance. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.

Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

Reconcile bank, credit card, and other balance sheet accounts on a regular basis.

Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data.

Process employee expense reports and company credit card transactions.

Support payroll processing and maintain payroll-related records.

Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

Assist with budgeting and cash management activities.

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.

Support audits by providing requested documentation and reports.

Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams regarding financial matters.
