We specialize in serving architects, woodworkers, and furniture manufacturers with a diverse range of veneers and architectural paneling, while also offering FSC-certified green wood products and advanced services such as CNC machining and finishing. Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Sieling and Jones, Inc. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our commitment to quality in the wood products industry. The Bookkeeper will play a key role in ensuring the financial health of our operations. Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and other accounting software. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections Bill.com experience a plus. Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review. Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities to support business planning. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Support tax preparation processes by gathering necessary documentation. Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits. Qualifications Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is essential. Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles and practices. Experience with accounts payable/receivable processes is required. Knowledge of governmental or public accounting is a plus but not mandatory. Familiarity with financial concepts, tax regulations, and compliance standards. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
