Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
  • Bookkeeper
  • to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
  • corporate and family-owned accounting
  • , with proficiency in various accounting software. This role involves accounts receivable, accounts payable in a multi-company environment. The position offers an opportunity to work with diverse accounting functions in a dynamic environment, supporting both operational and strategic financial activities. Responsibilities Perform
  • general ledger accounting
  • , including journal entries, account reconciliations, and
  • balance sheet reconciliation
  • and spreadsheets. Manage
  • accounts payable
  • and
  • accounts receivable
  • , ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments. Balancing accounts. Maintain accurate records using various
  • accounting software
  • such as
  • QuickBooks
  • , •Excel• and other financial tools.
Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and
  • financial report writing
  • for internal and external stakeholders. Support
  • tax preparation
  • activities and ensure proper documentation for audits or reviews. Perform detailed
  • account analysis
  • , monitor financial transactions, and ensure accuracy in all bookkeeping activities involving
  • debits & credits
  • , •double entry bookkeeping•, and journal entries.
Experience Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within corporate or family-owned businesses and multi-company setting. Proficiency with multiple accounting software platforms such as
  • QuickBooks
  • , •Xero•, •Sage•, and other relevant tools.
Experience with
  • bank reconciliation
  • , •account reconciliation•, and managing complex financial data sets.
Knowledge of payroll processing, tax regulations, and governmental accounting standards is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, including precise data entry (10 key typing) and detailed account analysis. Strong communication skills for preparing clear financial reports and collaborating across departments.
