Duties Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools to uphold health and safety standards Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, sinks, and surrounding areas to ensure a hygienic workspace Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing ingredients when needed Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with safety regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage inventory of clean dishes and coordinate timely turnover during busy periods Maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment, supporting overall restaurant or hotel operations Skills Strong understanding of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols Experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering settings Ability to perform basic cleaning duties efficiently and thoroughly Knowledge of kitchen operations including bussing, food preparation, and basic cooking techniques Prior banquet or large event experience is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions precisely Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be an essential part of our culinary team.
