Job DescriptionJob Description Accounts Payable Clerk LHH is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk for a 2-4-month temp assignment with a client in West Chester Ohio. The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and maintaining organized financial records. This role supports the accounting team by handling daily accounts payable activities and assisting with reporting and reconciliations. This position is 100% onsite in West Chester and will pay between $18 and $22/hr. Responsibilities Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner Match invoices to purchase orders, contracts, and receiving documentation Verify pricing, quantities, and approvals prior to payment Prepare and process weekly or monthly check runs and electronic payments Maintain the accounts payable inbox and respond to vendor inquiries Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Enter invoices, credits, and payments into the accounting system Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files and records Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable Support audits by providing documentation and schedules Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or business preferred 1-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience Basic understanding of accounting principles Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Good organizational and communication skills If you are interested in learning more, please apply now.
Pay Details:
