In this vital role, you will manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and current fee schedules to support the overall financial health of the organization. Your expertise in various accounting software and financial concepts will help us streamline processes, produce precise financial reports, and uphold transparency across all financial operations. Responsibilities Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded using accounting software such as QuickBooks. Perform bank reconciliations regularly to verify account balances and identify discrepancies Prepare and process Prognocis (EHR) entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable with precision Complete medical billing record requests Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness Assist with budgeting processes and support financial report writing for our owner Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and governmental accounting standards where applicable Support tax preparation activities by maintaining organized records of financial data and transactions Requirements Proven experience in medical office bookkeeping, corporate accounting, or non-profit accounting environments Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Strong understanding of financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and account reconciliation Knowledge of governmental accounting standards and tax regulations is a plus Excellent attention to detail with strong skills in bank reconciliation, account analysis, and general ledger reconciliation Ability to perform 10 key typing accurately and efficiently for data entry tasks Familiarity with payroll processing, budget management, and technical accounting practices Effective communication skills for preparing clear financial reports and collaborating across the team Join us as a Bookkeeper to play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our financial operations.
