Job Description

What You'll DoThe primary purpose of this role is to effectively, efficiently, and ethically manage financial records, support tax preparation, and engage with clients as needed.
Bookkeeping & General Ledger:
Maintain accurate and timely financial records by recording all transactions with proper categorization. Ensure daily reconciliation of entries and uphold a clean, organized, and up-to-date general ledger.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Manage accounts payable, process invoices, and ensure timely payments. Handle accounts receivable, including invoicing clients and monitoring collections.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, for management review.
Bank & Credit Card Reconciliations:
Perform daily reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
Tax Preparation Support:
Assist with the preparation and filing of various tax returns (e.g., federal, state, local) by gathering necessary financial documents and ensuring all required information is complete and accurate.
Payroll Processing:
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for clients, including calculating wages, deductions, and benefits, and maintaining compliance with payroll regulations.
