Job Description
Bookkeeper and Office Assistant Part-Time:
20 Hours a week Realty Renovator, LLC. is a family-owned real estate business and we are growing! With 15+ years in the industry, we're proud of our commitment to serving people and the trust that our reputation has built. This role will require self-discipline with an emphasis on delivering high quality work. The position is for an assistant Bookkeeper to our current Bookkeeper. Primarily task-focused and does not rely heavily on interactive or social skills. Getting it 'done right', with no mistakes is key to the position. This is a part time position, with approximately 20 hours per week with the days flexible.Job Responsibilities:
QUICKBOOKS DESKTOP BOOKKEEPING
(Work in office up to 3 days a week) . Entering accurate transactions for several company files- Accounts Payable for all companies in a timely manner
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Enter salary / payroll
- Manage and enter Journal Entries for Real Estate Transactions
- Manage Accounts Receivables balance
- Complete quarterly 941 forms for FICA taxes
- Assist in processing 1099's, 1098's and W2's
- Maintain and renew LLC's and fictitious names of each company
- Scanning and filing
- Errands as needed. Bank, Post Office, etc.
- Other similar tasks as needed
- 10 years of QuickBooks Desktop experience at most recent job/jobs
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
QuickBooks Desktop - 10 years Minimum at most recent job/jobs Excel, Windows, and WORD skills are a must Exceptional organizational skills Driven and committed to success while maintaining integrity Living in St. Charles County is preferred Reliable transportation for occasional errands. (Mail pick up, bill paying at local banks, etc.) You must own a laptop and have reliable internet connection Smart cell phone with texting Willing to work 20 hours per week possibly spread over 5 days per week.Reports to:
David Randolph, CEO Approximately 20 hours per week with the days and times flexible -- prefer 3 days per week, example: 9am - 4pm. This a 1099 independent contractor position, there are no health benefits. Non Smoking environment. Must have own vehicle and be able to pick up mail and pay bills at local banks and run errands occasionally. Must have cell phone and be able to communicate when not in the office.
