Job Description
We are a growing low voltage security company looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to help manage our day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional familiar with Zoho Books to ensure our financial operations run smoothly on a flexible part-time schedule (approx. [10-15] hours per week).
Key Responsibilities Transaction Recording:
Accurately enter daily financial activities, including purchases, expenses, sales revenue, and customer payments, specifically using Zoho Books.Cash Posting:
Reconcile bank and credit card daily activity within Zoho Books to match internal records and resolve discrepancies.Financial Reporting:
Assist in the generation of essential financial reporting, including profit & loss statements, job costing, and cash flow projections, to assist management with decision making.Payroll and Scheduling Support:
Analyze and report time records to assist with scheduling and payroll processing.Documentation Control:
Ensure compliance with accounting and job doumentation retention.Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Minimum one year of proven bookkeeping or general accounting experience.Industry:
Experience in accounting for field trades a plus (construction, electrician, handyman, etc)Software Proficiency:
Hands-on experience with accounting systems such as Quickbooks or Zoho Books and with Microsoft Excel is required.Core Knowledge:
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (double-entry bookkeeping, accrual vs. cash basis).Soft Skills:
Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and clear communication.Schedule & Location Hours:
Part-time, flexible approximately 10-15 hours per week.Work Arrangement:
