Job Description
Part-Time Bookkeeper (QuickBooks ProAdvisor) — South Florida / Remote Envisia Group, a small e-commerce business, is looking for a reliable part-time bookkeeper to join us on a long-term contractor basis. If you're an experienced bookkeeper looking for steady, flexible, long-term work, we'd love to hear from you. A current QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification is required for this role. We're also looking to work directly with an individual bookkeeper — bookkeeping firms, recruiters, and agencies should not apply. The role is mostly remote, but we'd like to meet in person to start, so you'll need to be based in South Florida (Miami to Palm Beach). After that first meeting, you'll work from home on a flexible schedule. We're looking for someone organized, trustworthy, and responsive — someone who can independently manage recurring bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks with minimal supervision. A current QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification is required. What you'd handle: Weekly or biweekly bank and credit card reconciliations General bookkeeping and QuickBooks maintenance, including general ledger review Merchant account statement entry and reconciliation Payroll-related bookkeeping support Light accounts payable and administrative bookkeeping Routine filings like Florida sales tax returns Support as we move from QuickBooks Enterprise to QuickBooks Online Inventory adjustment experience is a plus, but not required — we can train the right person on that part of the role. What we're looking for: Current QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification Strong hands-on QuickBooks experience and a solid grasp of bookkeeping fundamentals and reconciliations Highly reliable, detail-oriented, and responsive, with clear communication and good follow-through Able to provide professional references from current or recent clients or employers You'll need to personally perform the work — this role isn't open to firms, agencies, recruiters, or outsourced help Nice to have: E-commerce bookkeeping experience Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise and/or Online Inventory adjustment experience is a plus, but not required Experience supporting small multi-entity businesses The details: Independent contractor role, roughly 5-7 hours per week to start Long-term, ongoing relationship Flexible remote schedule after the initial in-person meeting $25-30 per hour, depending on experience and fit To apply, send a cover letter and share your background, your QuickBooks certifications, and your relevant experience.
