  • 4/28/2026 Key Responsibilities Responsibilities of this position: Enter and retrieve accounting data with accuracy and attention to detail.
Review financial and administrative documents, reconcile discrepancies, and implement necessary adjustments. Receive, research, and respond to inquiries or complaints, clearly explaining applicable rules, policies, and procedures. Process sales of licenses and permits while providing accurate information related to wildlife and recreational regulations. Provide assistance and on-the-job training to staff, supporting team development and operational efficiency. High school diploma or equivalent. Qualifications Minimum or "day-one" qualifications: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures. Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written. Working knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and procedures. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to effectively support professional staff in a fast-paced environment. Minimum of one year of accounting and/or office/clerical experience in a professional setting.
Preferred or trainable/on-the-job qualifications:
At least one year of accounting experience, including accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R).Experience with inventory tracking and management. Strong mathematical reasoning and analytical skills. Effective active listening and customer service skills. Ability to identify issues and demonstrate problem sensitivity. Strong social perceptiveness and interpersonal awareness. Proficiency in clerical and administrative functions. Solid written comprehension and communication skills. Knowledge of mathematics, economics, and accounting principles. Strong organizational skills, including information ordering and time management. Proficiency with computers and electronic systems. Knowledge of wildlife related activities (hunting, fishing etc.). About the Role Location

Responsibilities include the safe operation of office equipment, adherence to fire safety regulations, and awareness of potential hazards such as trips and falls. The position is primarily sedentary, requiring extended periods of sitting; however, occasional walking, standing, bending, lifting or carrying light items, and driving may be required.
