Job Description

Recruiting Solutions is hiring an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist in Columbia, SC for a temp-to-hire opportunity. Accounts Receivable & Collections Responsibilities:
Perform collections as a primary responsibility, following up with customers professionally and consistently Process AR invoices by printing, emailing, and mailing through SCEIS Manage the accounts receivable email inbox and respond to customer questions in a timely manner Prepare and distribute monthly customer statements Compile and maintain bi-monthly aging reports Enter and verify customer and invoice documentation in SCEIS (training provided) Use customer portals to review and manage online invoicing and payments Prepare clear, concise written and verbal communications for customers and internal teams File, scan, and support general office and administrative AR tasks Cross-train in multiple accounts receivable functions to support team operations Back up mail organization and distribution as needed Perform additional AR and accounting support duties as assigned
Accounts Receivable & Collections Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, with accounts receivable and collections experience preferred Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data Ability to work independently while also contributing as a team player Excellent customer service and communication skills (phone, email, and in person) Ability to prepare clear, concise, and professional communications and reports Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities Comfortable working in an open office environment
