Match invoices to purchase orders and repair orders to ensure accuracy before posting. Schedule and execute payments via checks or electronic transfers (ACH). Monitor deadlines to avoid late fees and take advantage of early payment discounts. Reconcile vendor statements monthly and resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes promptly. Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial records and reports. Assist with month-end closing procedures, calculate sales tax on paid invoices, and provide documentation for audits. Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries regarding payment status and account issues. Assist with tag & title work Other accounting duties as assigned Qualifications 2 + years experience in accounts payable or general bookkeeping. High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. Automotive dealership experience is strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience with dealership management systems (DMS) or accounting software like QuickBooks. Extreme attention to detail, strong math skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-energy, collaborative team environment.
