Job Description

Accounting Specialist We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for coordinating and performing a variety of accounting and bookkeeping functions. The Accounting Specialist will also assist the Business Manager with overall fiscal operations and special projects. Responsibilities Process accounts payable and accounts receivable. Perform general bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records. Prepare routine fiscal reports and assist with data analysis. Support specialty projects, including low-income housing programs, activity logging, and other assigned initiatives. Perform clerical and administrative duties related to accounting functions. Assist the Business Manager with day-to-day fiscal operations. Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions. Qualifications Associate degree (two-year degree) in accounting and at least two years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience using computers and accounting software. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is helpful. Schedule Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m.•5:00 p.m. Compensation $26•28/hour dependent on education and experience.
