Job Description

LifeDOC Health is looking to hire a full-time Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist to join our team in Memphis, TN! About LifeDOC Health LifeDoc is a multi-disciplinary clinic that is very active in its mission to affect positive change in Memphis and the Mid-south community. We provide every patient the tools to manage their health risks and to sustain a healthy lifestyle. To learn more about LifeDoc, visit our website: https://lifedochealth.org In the Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist role, you will assist with the day-to-day task in our finance department and play an integral role in maintaining account information.
Essential Functions:
Help with financial data entry and general bookkeeping Manage data, records, and reports by checking for errors and verifying accuracy of information Prepare receipts, vouchers, invoices, etc. for entry into data sheets Assist in preparation of financial statements and reports Assist in creating and setting budgets Update and maintain financial records Prepare spreadsheets for data entry, including budgets, accounting information, etc. Take direction from and report to the financial manager Independently prioritize daily tasks and responsibilities Provide stellar customer service to our clients and be informed on all company policy and practices (including data privacy) Attend and take notes at all financial department meetings Assist with audits as necessary Adhere to current accounting/finance laws and regulations Work to company standards
Education and Requirements:
High School Diploma required, Associate Degree preferred One year of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Ability to work in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
