Role Purpose The Cash Application Specialist will be responsible for the daily application/reconciliation of cash receipts for credit card, ACH, wire and lockbox transactions, reviews posting to ensure payment is applied appropriately, reconciliations and money transfers. What you will be doing Cash duties including booking all daily cash activity via journal entry Understands the function of correctly posting cash and performing General Ledger transfers Ability to work in multiple ERP systems with basic understanding of money transference Ability to work and understand multiple bank accounts Daily reconciliation of daily cash posting to daily bank deposit. Solid understanding of remit information from a customer payment Excellent Data Entry Skills with extremely high accuracy rate Excellent reconciliation and research skills Ability to understand the use of multiple email inboxes and their functions
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with month-end close, reporting. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and gets along well with others Must be able to interface with internal and external auditors as required. Ability to think creatively and make complex decisions Reconcile customer accounts as needed Perform other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:
Must be 18 years of age or older. 2-year degree or 2 years of equivalent experience Expertise in Excel and experience with modular accounting systems. Must have strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to plan, prioritize and complete projects within mission critical deadlines. Excellent customer service skills, in person, on the phone and in writing. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English. Must be willing to work long hours and weekends if necessary. Must be able to perform well under pressure. Pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing. Aviation awareness a plus.
