Accounts Payable Clerk

Sunburst Truck Lines is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for processing vendor invoices, verifying charges, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with vendors and internal departments in a fast-paced transportation environment.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and log invoices received. Match loads to invoices and verify charges. Verify supporting documents in detail. Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies. Address unbeknownst issues to appropriate departments. Process driver payroll. Manage weekly vendor payments. Address and respond to vendor inquiries. Providing backup support for billing team as needed. Any additional duties requested by management.​

Qualifications:

0-2 years accounts payable experience. Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge. Strong time management and organizational skills. High degree of attention to detail. Ability to work with other departments, as well as independently & prioritize tasks. Strong analytic skills. Problem solving skills. Ability to thrive under deadlines, drive results, multi-task, and work with a sense of urgency. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to learn quickly and be self-sufficient. Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
