Job Overview Score Entertainment is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounting Coordinator to support the financial operations of our family entertainment center in Humble, Texas. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling daily sales, organizing vendor bills, assisting with payroll records, tracking expenses, and preparing financial information for management. The ideal candidate should be organized, trustworthy, comfortable with high-volume transactions, and experienced with bookkeeping for a business that has multiple revenue streams. Our business includes entertainment attractions, arcade revenue, events, birthday parties, food and beverage, and retail-style POS transactions, so we are looking for someone who can help keep the books clean, accurate, and organized. Responsibilities Manage daily, weekly, and monthly bookkeeping tasks for the business. Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and merchant processing deposits. Review and reconcile POS sales reports, including arcade, attractions, food and beverage, parties, events, gift cards, refunds, and discounts. Enter and organize vendor bills, invoices, receipts, and business expenses. Track accounts payable and assist with payment scheduling. Assist with accounts receivable, customer deposits, event payments, and outstanding balances. Support payroll preparation by reviewing hours, timecards, tips, adjustments, and payroll reports. Maintain accurate general ledger records and properly categorize income and expenses. Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheet support, expense reports, and revenue summaries. Assist with Texas sales tax tracking and reporting. Maintain organized digital and physical accounting records. Communicate with managers, vendors, payroll providers, accountants, and ownership as needed. Help monitor expenses, cash flow, deposits, and department-level revenue. Support month-end closing procedures and provide reports to management. Ensure financial information is accurate, confidential, and properly documented. Qualifications Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience required. Experience with QuickBooks, accounting software, spreadsheets, and basic financial reporting. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Experience with bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Comfortable working with POS reports and high-volume daily sales transactions. Ability to organize receipts, invoices, vendor statements, deposits, and payroll records. Strong communication and follow-up skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Must be trustworthy, reliable, and professional with confidential financial information.
