Accounts Payable Specialist (QuickBooks Required) BASI Logistics - Laredo, TX (or specify if remote/hybrid) Job Summary BASI Logistics is seeking a dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to manage vendor invoices and ensure accurate, timely payments. This role is critical to keeping our financial operations organized and running smoothly. Responsibilities Process and enter vendor invoices in QuickBooks Match invoices to loads, rate confirmations, and supporting documents Verify charges (trucking, detention, demurrage, etc.) Schedule and process payments (ACH, checks, wires) Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Maintain organized AP records and documentation Communicate with vendors and internal operations team Assist with month-end reporting and AP aging Requirements Experience with QuickBooks (required) 1-3 years of Accounts Payable or similar experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage high invoice volume Good communication and organizational skills Preferred Experience Logistics, trucking, or freight billing Knowledge of detention and demurrage charges Cross-border freight experience (U.S.-Mexico is a plus) Compensation Competitive pay based on experience (Add hourly or salary range) Background Check Employment is contingent upon successful completion of: Criminal background check Employment verification Reference checks (Credit check may be required for final candidates) Apply Please apply through Indeed with your resume.
