Missouri City, TX Job Details Part-time $22•$28 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications QuickBooks Full Job Description Part-Time Full-Charge Bookkeeper & Office Coordinator (QuickBooks Desktop) True Vines, Inc. is looking for a steady, detail-driven professional to own our day-to-day financial operations and keep our internal systems running cleanly behind the scenes. This is a hands-on, full-cycle bookkeeping role with light office coordination responsibilities . You'll work directly with leadership, manage the entire accounting cycle in QuickBooks Desktop, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, consistency, and variety in a small business environment . It is not a narrowly defined or purely accounting-only position.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, within 9 AM•4 PM operating hours
Hours:
25-32 hours per week (structured to remain within part-time scope)
Compensation:
$22•$28 hourly
Responsibilities:
What You'll Own (Accounting•Primary Focus) Full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks Desktop (daily, hands-on)
Accounts Payable:
process, code, verify, and execute payments (ACH, check, EFT)
Accounts Receivable:
invoicing, payment tracking, and collections follow-up Bank and account reconciliations; maintain accurate, audit-ready records Monthly cash flow reporting and financial summaries for leadership Month-end close support and coordination with CPA and external partners \Office & Operational Support (Secondary Focus) Maintain organized digital files and internal documentation Manage vendor communication and resolve billing discrepancies Provide follow-through support to leadership on administrative items Serve as a point of contact for incoming calls and routing inquiries Identify and improve inefficiencies in workflows and systems
Qualifications:
5-7+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience (small business or service-based environment preferred) Strong, working expertise in QuickBooks Desktop (required) Solid understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations, and cash flow Proficiency in Excel (data entry, formulas, reconciliation support) Highly detail-oriented with a consistent, methodical work style Comfortable working independently, with direct access to leadership for alignment Professional communicator with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders About Company We're a 33-year-old, woman-owned interiorscape company serving commercial clients across Houston.
