Description Accounting Specialist Lead•

Pittsburg, Texas Pay Range:
$32,255
  • $42, 818; SNE Hourly Position Position Summary The Accounting Specialist II
  • Fuel is responsible for performing a variety of accounting and clerical tasks related to fuel cost tracking, inventory monitoring, and accounts payable functions. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work closely with internal teams and outside vendors. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual fuel reports as required.
  • Track and verify costs on fuel related entries.
  • Balance fuel inventories on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Maintain off site fuel card program.
  • Enter accounts payable for pay all fuel suppliers.
  • Enter accurate fuel accounting and reporting with manual and electric interface programs.
  • Communicate daily with outside suppliers and Truck Shop Management.
  • Assist with fuel audits
  • Complete Month End fuel task with strict deadlines.
  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned. Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Basic Skills & Experience
  • Typically requires 2 years of clerical or accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday with some weekend work required;
