Medical Accounts Receivable Clerk Location:

Plano, TX Overview:

Our healthcare organization is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Accounts Receivable Clerk to support billing and revenue cycle operations in an outpatient setting. This role focuses on payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up, and cross-training within the billing department. The position offers a consistent weekday schedule and a comprehensive benefits package.

Position Offers:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM No weekends -

Competitive Compensation:

Key Responsibilities:

Post payments accurately and in a timely manner Work accounts receivable to resolve outstanding balances Support billing department functions and cross-training initiatives Review accounts for discrepancies and ensure proper reconciliation Communicate with payers regarding claim and payment issues Assist with billing workflows and financial documentation Maintain accuracy in all billing and revenue cycle activities

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing or accounts receivable Familiarity with billing processes and payer follow-up Medisoft experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills
