HMT is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform all assigned accounting responsibilities Communicate effectively with project managers and vendors Maintain confidentiality of company information Manage incoming and outgoing emails for the Accounts Payable inbox Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner; maintain organized records Research and respond promptly to vendor payment inquiries Create and issue purchase orders for vendors Reconcile vendor statements and ensure all invoices are properly recorded Set up and maintain vendor accounts, complete credit applications Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies Assist the finance team with documentation for audits Qualifications & Education Experience 1+ years of accounts payable and/or general accounting experience High school diploma or GED required Working knowledge of accounts payable processes Familiarity with general bookkeeping procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Key Competencies Strong attention to detail and accuracy Solid accounting foundation Effective interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational and information management abilities Ability to collaborate across multiple regions and teams Problem-solving mindset Dependable and results-oriented Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams Equal Employment Opportunity HMT is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
