Job Summary:

We are looking for an organized and proactive Accounting Assistant to support the company's accounting and administrative operations. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, and assisting with tax preparation.

Responsibilities:

Assist with general accounting tasks, including account reconciliation and financial record management. Process and record accounting transactions accurately. Help prepare financial reports and statements. Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with regulations. Perform data entry tasks and maintain organized financial records. Assist in tax preparation and filing. Use QuickBooks for accounting and financial management. Work with Drake Tax Software for tax preparation and filing. Answer calls and respond to emails related to accounting and administrative matters. Coordinate schedules and arrange meetings as needed. Support other accounting and administrative duties as required.

Requirements:

Experience in accounting, administration, or a similar role. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Drake Tax Software . Experience in payroll processing and tax preparation software. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Familiarity with office software and tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual (Spanish and English), with the ability to communicate fluently in both languages. Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a high level of responsibility. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
