Prepares accounting entries with supporting documents and posts into accounting system. Compiles financial da and prepares a variety of reports. Performs accounting functions reled to budgets and projections. Establishes and maintains control of subsidiary accounts which involve all types of transactions. Analyzes, classifies, and reconciles accounts requiring analysis of adjustments and corrective entries to ensure proper documention and account accuracy. Frequently develop worksheets to prove the accuracy and completeness of entries. Recommends corrective action to senior accountants. Assist accountants with researching and resolving system-reled issues affecting day-to-day accounting operions. Assists accountants with implementing direct accounting changes and reporting requirements. Establishes and ensures th administrive procedures are outlined and strictly adhered to. Reconciles records with internal staff , management, or external vendors or customers. Recommend actions to resolve discrepancies. Investiges questionable da and performs analysis. Uses knowledge of methods, techniques and internal procedures to identify, record, and process the continuous flow of accounting da. Provides limited assistance in specific accounting assignments. Interprets new regulory guides. Develop and updes procedural guides to accommode regulory changes. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communices positively in a friendly manner. Take action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulions and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupional illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immedie supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Performs other reled duties as assigned. Qualificions Three (3) years¿ experience in financial accounting th demonstres possession of generally accepted accounting principles to include a thorough knowledge in fiscal mters, accounting principles, practices and procedures, regulions, and policies. Relevant educion may be used as a substitute for experience. Must have a high degree of proven initiive and originality in applicion and employment of accounting systems and directives applicable to NAF financial accounting. Knowledge of general accounting principles applicable to retail and cost environments. Ability to apply a thorough understanding of accounting principles and procedures in performing accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general ledger functions within the framework of an automed financial system. Ability to maintain a working knowledge of automed financial systems including software applicions and integred subsystems. Additional informionGENERAL INFORMATION
