Job Description
We are seeking an accurate, detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our growing automotive dealership team in Southern Vermont. You will manage daily financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and support the dealership's business office operations. Prior accounting experience is strictly required. While automotive dealership experience (such as processing vehicle titles or service billing) is highly preferred, we will train the right candidate on our specific dealership management systems. CDK experience is a plus. Key Responsibilities Process daily cash deposits and reconcile bank statements. Manage accounts payable (AP) by verifying, coding, and entering vendor invoices. Review accounts receivable (AR) ledger balances and follow up on outstanding collections. Finalize vehicle sales paperwork and filing. Assist the Office Manager with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
