Job Description

We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day financial operations for a Long-term Contract position based in McClearly, Washington. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable managing transactional accounting work, maintaining accurate records, and keeping billing activities organized and on schedule. The selected candidate will contribute to both payables and receivables processes while using accounting software and data entry skills to ensure dependable financial documentation.
Responsibilities:
  • Process vendor invoices, verify payment details, and prepare accounts payable transactions for timely completion.
  • Record incoming payments, update customer account information, and help maintain accurate accounts receivable balances.
  • Enter financial and billing data into accounting systems with close attention to accuracy and completeness.
  • Use QuickBooks to maintain accounting records, track transactions, and support routine financial reporting activities.
  • Review invoice documentation for discrepancies, follow up on missing information, and help resolve payment-related issues.
  • Reconcile account records and assist with identifying and correcting posting errors or mismatched entries.
  • Organize financial files and maintain supporting documentation for audits, reporting, and internal recordkeeping.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to ensure accounting transactions are processed efficiently and in accordance with established procedures.
