Part-Time Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper Join Our Growing Concrete & Gravel Company! We are a locally owned and growing concrete and gravel company seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper to join our team. This is an on-site, part-time position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as our company continues to expand. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, are detail-oriented, and take pride in keeping an office running smoothly, we'd love to meet you! Responsibilities Perform daily bookkeeping and accounting functions Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Process invoices and customer payments Reconcile bank and credit card statements Maintain accurate financial records Assist with payroll preparation and employee records Answer phones and greet customers professionally Manage office filing and administrative tasks Support management with reports and special projects Communicate with customers, vendors, and team members in both English and Spanish Qualifications Required Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) Previous bookkeeping experience Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and work independently Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Preferred Experience using QuickBooks Online Construction, concrete, trucking, or aggregate industry experience Payroll or HR administrative experience What We Offer Part-time schedule to start Opportunity for advancement into a full-time position Competitive pay based on experience Supportive, family-oriented work environment Opportunity to grow with a successful and expanding company Schedule Part-Time (approximately 20-30 hours per week) Monday-Friday Flexible schedule available Compensation Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
